FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
YOU ARE HIS CHOICE
I want to congratulate every reader of this piece because I know that the Lord has directed you to do so. Count yourself as part of the few that the Lord has chosen and set aside to be his battle axe at this end time. You have not come to where you are by your own volition or wisdom. The Lord will minister to you mightily in Jesus name. Amen
John 6:65 “And he said, Therefore said I unto you that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my father” (KJV)
This verse of the scripture distinctly sets you apart as a vessel capable of being used by the Lord; depending on you (2Tim 2:20, 21.)
This passage separates the good shepherd from the sheep; the one who leads from the one that is being led. We are told how to identify the voice of the boss that we are to listen to. We are to follow only the voice of the master (John 10:27-28). Too many so called believers still follow strange voices; voices of fake prophets, of household enemies, voices of the grave. Some men of the world are still asking serpents (yes serpents) to decide on what to do on a given day or whether to go out or not. This politician has two pythons in his closet; one black and one white. He consults them every morning before he goes out for the day. By the time he opens his closet if the white one comes out first he is free to go out for the day. If the black one comes out first he stays home all day.
Some have lost their calling and destiny from listening to strange voices, some have left the ministry because they have listened to the voice of satanic agents acting as advisors. Some follow the instructions from the idols of their heart in their choice of job, husband, and wife or where to live. They often forget that it is God that has chosen you and not you. The God that has chosen you already has all things figured out, plans that are perfect and tailor- made for you. The God who makes ears will He not have ears?
In the gospel of John 15:16 the Lord says “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that ….he may give it you”
The plan and desire of God is for us to bear much fruits
Draw near unto God and He will draw near unto you…. (James 4:8)
“Trust in the LORD with all thine hearts; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths” Pro 3:5-6.
